It's like having a bunch of scheming high school freshmen running the country.-The Washington Monthly's Kevin Drum, on the Bush administration's decison to put off all federal spending until after October 1st...the start of the new fiscal year...so as not to seem fiscally irresponsible in the current fiscal year.
