Two More Supers For Obama

Two old-horse Democratic heavyweights have endorsed Sen. Barack Obama for the party's 2008 presidential nomination. Former Sen. David Boren (OK) and former Sen. Sam Nunn (GA) have thrown their support behind the Illinois Senator, and are now advising the candidate on issues of national security.

Of course Hillary Clinton will probably discount these endorsements since they come from men who represented two of the reddest states in the nation.

For the record...should Obama go all the way, Sam Nunn would be an excellent pick for Defense or national security adviser (or even White House Chief of Staff).

UPDATE: It turns out Boren and Nunn are not super-delegates to the convention. None the less the ensorsement of these two powerhouse Democrats, one from the old confederacy and the other from one of the most Republican states in the southwest, can only help sway undecided supers to Obama.
