Battling Flint's Crack Epidemic

Officials in Flint, Michigan, the nation's third most dangerous city - situated 65 miles north of Detroit, the nation's most dangerous - have passed a law that will remove the most undesirable of elements from their streets...the boys who where their pants down below their ass!

If convicted, the badly dressed boys of Flint face a jail term of between 93 days and one year, and/or a $500 fine.

Quite frankly, on this issue the little guy on my right shoulder (the law and order side) beats the left-sided mini-me that is the liberal libertarian. The whole pants around the knees thing is way too out of hand, and perhaps more laws like this could serve as a very small step forward in the fight against the overwhelming presence of gangs on our urban streets.
