PG&E Donates $250,000 to Defeat the Fascist Anti-Marriage Amendment

From the LA Times:
Giving a financial and public relations boost to gay marriage proponents, PG&E announced today that it is giving $250,000 to the No on Proposition 8 campaign.
It's like a slow train picking up speed. I'm actually beginning to feel a wee-bit optimistic about the "no" side's chances. There's still a long way to go, and the other side is also raising big time cash, but when PG&E gives money to the cause you know the tide is turning.

Update: Meanwhile, on the other coast, the Massachusetts state legislature voted 118 to 35 yesterday to repeal the 1913 law forbidding out-of-state couples from marrying there if the marriage wouldn't be recognized in their home state. Gov. Deval Patrick said he will sign it.
