Polls, Polls, Polls...and a Map

Three new polls show Barack Obama continuing to have a strong single-digit lead over John McCain...
Quinnipiac University Poll:
Obama 50%
McCain 41%

Reuters/Zogby:
Obama 47%
McCain 40%

CBS News/New York Times:
Obama 45%
McCain 39%
And an optimisitc read of state-by-state polling shows the Electoral College map looking rather healthy for the Democrat...

Obama 334
McCain 204

We're in the middle of summer and most Americans aren't quite focused on the presidential contest right yet. Thus, these polls and that map are fluid. The task for Sen. Obama is to make sure he holds - or better yet, strengthens - his lead.
