It's your typical case of a TV reporter's mouth getting ahead of his brain. At the same time, David Schuster's comment accusing the Clinton's "pimping out" Chelsea at Hillary's campaign events was, if anything, unfair. Chelsea has joined her parents on the campaign trail at least as far back as Bill's 1992 presidential run; and the children of candidates for political office have joined the parents on the road as far back as I can remember.
MSNBC and NBC News did the proper thing with Schuster's suspension. Beyond that, he should return to work and this whole stupid thing forgotten.
