Where Things Stand

As we approach 10pm here on the West Coast, here is the state-by-state rundown:

Obama:

Alabama
Alaska
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Georgia
Kansas
Idaho
Illinois
Minnesota
Missouri
North Dakota
Utah

Clinton:

Arkansas
Arizona
California
Massachusetts
New Jersey
New York
Oklahoma
Tennessee

Still outstanding: New Mexico

That's 13 states for Sen. Obama, 8 for Sen. Clinton.

Tomorrow, a look at how the delegates are assigned, as well as the final vote numbers.

Update: Chuck Todd of NBC News is estimating the following delegate breakdown:

Obama 841
Clinton 837

The final numbers will depend on how large Clinton's margin is in California. But considering that Clinton had a double digit lead just two or three weeks ago, Obama's performance tonight would make him the evening's winner.
