That's the current lead for Democrat Scott Murphy over Republican James Tedisco in the special election for the House seat in New York's 20th congressional district:
Scott Murphy (D) 77,344
James Tedisco (R) 77,279
6,000 absentee ballots will be counted by April 7, and overseas absentee ballots by April 13. A winner won't be declared until then. Or until the inevitable court cases are settled.

Two things:

1. This is going to turn into a replay of the still undecided Minnesota Senate race.
2. If the state can count over 154,000 ballots in a matter of hours, why will it take several weeks to count a few thousand absentees?
