Truly, the Dark Side

The authorization of assassination squads during his term in office, knocking the incoming president to foreign leaders during the transition period, and installing "stay behinds" in key government posts in order to stay informed of the goings on inside the Obama administration.

Via Keith Olbermann, Seymour Hersh reports that former vice-president Dick Cheney continues to be as dangerous out of power as he was in.


So, the questions of the day are these: If Cheney still gets intelligence updates and government information (such updates were supposed to stop at noon on January 20), why is he still getting them, who is giving them to him, and why is nothing being done to stop it?

After eight years of Darth Vader-esque governance, one can't rule out the strong possibility that Cheney is up to something really, really dark.
