...that the state of California has scheduled a special election for May 19?
Ya know...I mean REALLY! Why the hell do we pay our legislators to represent us in Sacramento if they're going to keep throwing the hard stuff back at us in the form of ballot initiatives? This system of taking issues to the voters has been so abused that it isn't any wonder California is in such dire straits.
With all due respect, too many voters are just too damn stupid to make informed decisions on anything other than political offices. And even then they don't always get it right.
