Obama's Bad Day

Nancy Killefer, the President's pick to fill the newly designed "chief performance officer" post in his White House, has withdrawn over a number of issues, including tax problems.

Now word has it that former senator Tom Daschle withdrew his nomination to be Secretary of Health and Human Services (over tax issues as well). According to NBC News, it was this NY Times editorial that led to his decision.

I'm not sure who I'd pick to replace Daschle for the HHS post, but the perfect candidate to replace Killefer...is Barney Frank.
