Rep. Ellen Tauscher (Democrat-CA) will introduce legislation this week that would repeal the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. A large majority of Americans believe gay and lesbian patriots should be able to serve their country without fear of punishment, and Tauscher's bill, if it makes it through the Senate, would allow them to do just that.
