Obama 53%Wow! If this is an accurate reflection of where American voters stand right now, then the McCain/Palin ticket is indeed in dire straits. I doubt it will really happen, but if McCain tallies less than 40% of the vote without a substantial third party candidate in the mix, then the Republican Party is set to spend some serious time in the political wilderness.
