Mid-Week Brain Break

This one is dedicated to my mom.

As the new TV season gets underway, many shows return to resolve season finales from last spring. Although cliffhanger season-enders are commonplace these days, that wasn't the case back in the 60s and 70s. That is, until a show called "Dallas" started leaving viewers on the edge of their seats at the end of each season beginning in 1979.

This week's Mid-Week Brain Break highlights the first seven "Dallas" cliffhangers (the show would last 13 seasons). This clip includes the infamous "Who Shot J.R.?" episode.
